The Firer family came to the United States as refugees, escaping hardship and uncertainty in search of a safer, better life. Like so many families forced to leave behind everything familiar, they arrived with little more than hope in their hearts and a determination to build a new future.
Along the way, they experienced the power of compassion firsthand. Strangers became friends, communities extended helping hands, and small acts of generosity made a world of difference in their most difficult moments. These experiences instilled in the Firer family a lifelong commitment to giving back — to stand with those facing adversity and to uplift others the way they were once uplifted.
Years later, having built a life founded on hard work and gratitude, Dr. Oleg Firer and his family established the Firer Family Charitable Foundation to honor those early acts of kindness and to ensure that no child, no family, and no community faces hardship alone.
Today, our foundation operates on seven continents, delivering humanitarian aid, emergency relief, education programs, and community support initiatives to the most vulnerable. Every project we undertake is rooted in the values of compassion, resilience, and unity — values born from our own story of survival and hope.
